Our Mission: The Uptown DC Village Planning Group is dedicated to helping older adults age in place—staying in their own homes and community for as long as they choose, rather than moving to retirement facilities.

We aim to build a neighborhood where everyone can age with dignity, comfort, and connection—right at home.

What We Aim to Provide: We are working to bring essential services directly to our neighbors, including:

Transportation: Helping you get where you need to go.
Home Maintenance: Assisting with the upkeep of your residence.
Social Activities & Companionship: Keeping our community connected.
Wellness Support: Prioritizing health and well-being.

We Need Your Help! We are looking for community-minded neighbors to help shape this effort. Whether you have professional skills, personal experience, or simply care about creating a supportive neighborhood, your involvement makes a difference
